I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessments to adults, adolescents, and children throughout the community. I earned my Master’s Degree from UNC–Chapel Hill with a focus on mental health.
Over the years, I have worked with individuals navigating a wide range of life stressors, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, ADHD, parenting concerns, trauma, and life transitions. I believe that no two individuals have the same experiences, which is why I value a highly personal and collaborative approach to therapy. Together, we work to identify therapeutic goals and develop coping strategies that support growth, resilience, and lasting change.
I believe the therapeutic relationship begins long before the first appointment. Every new client has the opportunity to speak directly with me before scheduling services because meaningful rapport starts with genuine human connection. I offer both in-person and virtual appointments to make therapy accessible while maintaining the personal connection that is essential to effective care.
Currently, I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work, and North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation.

Areas of Specialization: Depression, anxiety and OCD, ADHD, trauma and abuse, life transitions, grief, personal identity, self-esteem, women’s issues (including perimenopause), and parent coaching and support.
Therapeutic Approaches: Supportive, cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapies, all with a strengths based perspective. I believe in an eclectic approach, due to the fact that no two individuals are the same or have encountered the same experiences in life.
